Skipper,
How far down were you and what did you use. I will be down Sat with a new PINS fisherman and would like to put him on some fish.
Just got my kayak and can't wait to put it in the surf.
See ya on the sand,

Excellent job Skipper! Its settled, now I have to get out there this Friday! My trucks still loaded from this Sunday, so I'll just leave it loaded, and run straight out after work.
So was it an early or late bite for you? _________________ Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Nice catch skipper. Somewhere between the blacktop and the 30 huh. That narrows it down. LOL - Glad you had fun. - Mick _________________ "Fish On"! |

Hey Skipper, you the man! I just had to go down to that hole yesterday evening and see if there were any left..... Well, I got 5 Trout between 7:30 and dark, 16, 16-1/2, 16-1/2, 24, and 24-1/2. All on my well used super spook. And my first ever Spanish mack(23") on a topwater. Also landed a 13 lb range Jack Crevalle on a trout rod with a 2500FH Stradic loaded with 12lb. supermono. What a blast. All fish were caught on a red head white body Excalibur super spook.
later,
Ernie
P.S. The trout were all caught in about 10" of water mabey 6 feet into the shore break. I could actually see their tails sticking out of the water as they cruised the weed line in the wash. The Jack and Mack were pulled out of the first gut, just over the bar. Sure wish I had a camera!!! |
