Is there anywhere to launch a PWC from the surf or is that even legal anymore? Bought a seadoo recently and I am headed offshore once I get the thing broken in....any tips or concerns or general things to be mindful of on these little machines. Thanks for the help.

You cannot launch at PINS, they won't let jet ski's inthe park. I had to take mine to Bob Hall area to launch and there you have to keep away from shore. You should carry a radio or a cell phone should you lose your engine.

I would suggest not taking it off shore.... I have fished off a sea doo in the Laguna and broke down 3 consecutive times. When you sit on it for awhile water can start getting into the engine compartment and it won't start. I floated from the ICW across the bay to the Bluff. Not much fun in a rain storm! I have not fished off of it since.
