You might recall the article concerning water quality and Oso Bay and Creek. Many folks wanted information on meeting times and how they can become involved.
Here is the site for information:

The second in a series of meetings will be held to update you on the progress of the Oso Creek/Oso Bay Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) project. The meeting will be held from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm on June 21, 2005 at the Carlos Truan Natural Resources Center, Room 1003 on the Texas A&M University Corpus Christi campus located at 6300 Ocean Drive (west end of the campus).
The evening's agenda includes the formation of the Watershed Advisory Group, an update of the water quality monitoring in Oso Creek/Oso Bay by Joanna Mott and a presentation on the watershed model under the direction of Rick Hay.
Again, your participation is very important and will ensure that state government considers local perspectives in its decisions. We encourage you to attend and believe the meeting will help you gain insight into the nature of water quality problems and alternate solutions to be planned for your area. This is a joint effort and the role you play in it is very important. More information on the project can be found at the TCEQ's web site at: http://www.tnrcc.state.tx.us/water/quality/tmdl/osobaybacteria.html.
