| What would be the best way to get to east flats by kayak? Is there a way to get close to it by car? |

You know where Charlies Pasture is in Port/a? (off the road that heads to the ferry when you take a left at light on ave G) You can drive to the far western side going southward & get pretty close. Thats the closest by vehical that I know of. Youll be in the far northern part of east flats from there. Otherwise Its a long arse paddle from Wilson channel at shamrock just to get to the southern end of that area. _________________ Fish hard, fish the Bluff. Surrounded by water!

Did anyone see the big sunken tree a few hundred yards off Pelican Point in East Flats this past weekend?
For a second I thought I was fishing Choke. |

Wonder how it got there, or was it always there? _________________ Fish hard, fish the Bluff. Surrounded by water!

| There were a couple of submerged trees along the southern margin of the East Flats last summer. They must hold some bait as we saw dolphin circling on several occasions. |
