i have been fishing for skark for many years but mainly from a pier with 4/0,s.WELL i got a 9/0 today and was wondering if you guys had some info on line test or anything helpfull. i want to start sharking from the beach. i have a drifter kayak and i know that thats not the best kayak for carring out bait but thats what i got.i think it will do on calm days.------thaks-----------cuda  |

My .02, would be to load the reel up with 50# big game, and the last 100 yards put a 100# topshot. Nothing wrong with a drifter, one of my surf buddies uses one and he has no problems with it in the surf.
