|
|
A friend of mine went out Sunday to an undisclosed location and caught the trout of his life! He has fished the area for 35 years and this was his best to date. The fish is pushing 34" and 12 lbs and is not far from the state record listed on Texas Parks and Wildlife.
I am not sure how to post pictures so if someone that knows how will let me know their email I will send it to them and they can post it. It will be worth the effort....... |

Read the sticky above for how to post pics from Shutterfly. It explains the easiest and free way to post pics.

| You can email it to me at tyler@corpusfishing.com include who caught it, when it was caught ,and what it was caught on if you can. Also a general area would be nice without revealing your friend's spot such as"between JFK and Bird Island etc" |

Bo Patrick of Bishop is the angler. This photo is from a cell phone but you get the idea. Caught Saturday 5/15 somewhere north of the mouth of Baffin. That's general enough!

Congrats. Hope he is entered into the CCA Star tournament. Also hope he lists what he used to catch this fish with. If he used a artificials then he has some endorsement $$ coming. If he was soaking live bait - nada - just the fish. _________________ Ahh sand between my toes! |

| That one is a wall hanger for sure. Curious about the type of bait used and if he was in a boat or wading? Seems that most of the big trout I have heard of are caught by waders. |
