Our old slug dog Murphy who had been disabled for the last 6 years of her 12.5 yr life, finally gave up the ghost yesterday. She was a good dog whose only goal in life was to outlive Baile, the big Bernese Mt.Dog. Mission accomplished. She's probably barking jealously at Baile right now on the Rainbow Bridge Very Happy This one is more of a relief as she had a long life. We just didn't have the heart to put her down just because she could only crawl.

Surely he qualfied under the circumstances to be carried over Bifrost by a Valkyrie. At any rate, may he find many meaty bones beneath the feast table each night. Condolences, Tyler, on the losses of your companions.

Geez Tyler I'm sorry to hear this. Having lost one last year at 13½ years old and now having another now going on 16 years old I can surely relate.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family.

Sorry to hear that Tyler. Losing two dogs in such a short time is a hard thing to go through for a family. May both of them be enjoying many snausages in the Big Kennel.

Our condolences.

Tyler,

Two within a short time. Sorry to hear about your second dog. Just like others, we know how you and your family must feel. They're in doggie heaven now running through the flower patched fields and hills, and dining on some hefty T-bones.

God Bless during these difficult times...

Sorry to hear that Tyler! At least she lived a long life...and I'm sure a lot of it was spent on the beach, which makes it that much better.

Mr. Golla, what kind of dog is it that you have on the beach with you? Is that a Rat Terrier? Cool dog!

Take care

Well Tyler, at least he lived a good long life with good owners. My dog has come very close to that big dog kennel in the sky. He's only four and he has been hit by a car, fell out of my truck twice - once while doing 60 on the way to the beach, and once he fell out of the cab when the door opened on Nile Dr - and he has come close to getting shot while jumping in front of my shotgun while bird hunting. Even so, he hasn't slowed down a bit. A bit of advice for dog owners -TIE YOUR DOGS UP IN THE BED OF YOUR TRUCK SO THEY CAN'T FALL OUT! My heart just sank when a car full of crying kids sped up to me to tell me he fell out. No permanent or even substantial injuries in all of these close calls. I think he is part cat.
