Guys, I'm thinking of fishing for some Bull Reds around the San Luis Pass area Labor Day and I wanted to know how the weather (T-Storms) will affect the fishing? Thanks _________________ Life is Short....... Fish Hard! |

Bull Reds love the most nasty weather you can imagine.
I have caught most of my bull reds in High surf and dirty or stained water. Toss some cut mullet and crab out there. You are bound to hook into one.
Look at the surf behind my dad in this pic. It was rough that day. 4-6 foot seas with a couple of 7 footers thrown in there. Water was a stained color. This fish went 43" and was caught on Cut mullet on the 2nd of October last year.
