| I've seen it and often wondered about it. Don't have a clue though. |

Caught a mess big specs by it one year.
The north jetty at Port A has a marker on a piece of rock localy known as "tombstone"
One time at the north jetty at SPI a family came out dressed in their sunday best and spread out the ashes of some loved one.
How and where do you want to go or be remembered? _________________ Lefty Ray

I went to IPP a while back and a group of mourners scattered some ashes out there.
I'd bet that guy was well known by people who frequented the pier in years gone by.
I don't yet know where I'd want my ashes scattered. Cocodrie, LA is all that comes to mind, and it really isn't that special. All of my really special places have been developed and just don't exist anymore.
I hope to find a favorite spot here in the Coastal Bend area that will be that special to me. _________________ Chad Landry

There is more than one of them out there, two of them are right near the beginning and there is a site that looks like there was another out near the end and the stone is missing. _________________
