Several of us are planning a trip through Deep Sea Headquarters to hunt for some yellowfins. We will be leaving at 6:00am on November 16th, and returning on the 18th around the same time. Departure is on a Tuesday.

We are looking for a couple more people to round out the boat. This is a private charter, and we would like to limit it to 10-12 people. Price is 450 per person up to 10 people and 250 each additional.

Weather in November can be dicey, so bring your sea legs. I just thought I would open it up to the board since Deep Sea HQ is a sponsor here.

Email me if you are interested.

Thanks,

Yakmon

That makes 9. Need 1 more. If this doesn't work out, we might have to rethink.

I will let you know what is going on as I see it develop.

This is an incredible trip! We went last year and hammered the yelowfins--on topwaters. It is crazy.

If I wasn't going in early December, I would go with you guys.

Anyone on the fence--just do it!!!!!!!

Come on Old Salt! You won't need a whole month to recuperate. You're not that old! Laughing

Yep, but it's hard to justify spending another $450 bucks though.

We're up to 1870 and need 2250 to hold the boat. One more paid customer will hold it, and we can work it out from there.

I would like to get something down from each person who is interested to make sure we go.

This is going to be a good group.

I just got enough to hold the boat. Too bad you can't make it. Should be a good trip.

People if you've never been on a Tuna trip this is a very good deal! I admit I love bluewater, but until you've seen washing machine sized fish hitting topwaters, you aint seen nothin!
It doesn't take special gear, my first tuna (77#) was taken with a jigmaster and 30# line.
A 50# and an 80# rig will cover rods. You'll chunk fish, that means direct tie hooks to mono, no weights and sometimes no leader.
If you haven't eaten fresh properly cared for tuna, I pity you.
