Does anybody know if the pass is open. I was thinking of pulling a boat through it after christmas. Any information will help.

Last the Caller-Times reported, the dune cut was open, but there was still water on the road. Don't wander from the road.

That road can be flooded and as long as you stay in the middle it should not be a problem...disclaimer note I have never done this pulling a boat. The problem happens is when two vehicles are coming toward each other and something has to give!

Hey Fish Hunter,
I was on the beach this past saturday and the Pass was CLOSED. Maybe a call to the PINS office would be a good idea before you start the drive.
