I see this term in the forum and on my topo map but don't know what it is. Can someone clue in the Greenhorn.

All those little islands that you see along the ICW are spoil islands. Thats where the dredge material was placed. Alot of those islands now are considered bird sanctuary's.

Sure there is a lot of mullet and other bait around those Islands.
