I know we have a diverse group of saltwater fishing fans that visit this site, so out of curiosity, what are your favorite three fishing destinations on the coastal bend? Here are mine:
1. PINS
2. Baffin Bay
3. Nueces Bay |

The #1 place for me is Nueces bay. It is closer to my home so it is more cost efficient than anywhere else. Less money per trip = more trips per $. Also it can be very challenging to fish, by limiting my fishing area I have to learn small details about the area and what works. Since it has numerous reefs and shallow water it is not attractive to a lot of people. It is nice also to have a healthy dose of solitude to combine with the fishing experience. _________________ When it's all said and done,

#1 PINS
#2 Shamrock(always find reds there)
#3 humble channel/upperlaguna/oso(just depends on time of year, water level, and conditions can ussual find reds and trout at one of these year round, the trick it picking the right one at the right day)
But PINS provides the greatest diversity of animals to be caught, is the most secluded(lowest fishing pressure), and can't beat a day at the beach with or without fish.

1. PINS
2. Port A South Jetty
3. Copano Bay
For as long as I could fish, those are my favorite places to fish.
