| Last night I caught about 10 bass in a little one acre pond at an apartment in Houston. The bass where all about 12" and about half a pound. I fished from about 11pm to 1am. The apartment employees said there was no fish in there. My dog was standing by my side off the leash staring at the ducks and looking for rabbits. The weak cold front blew in about that time and blew a cool, refreshing wind on my face. Then I walked upon two ducks getting it on. You just don't think about things like that. Caught me by surprise, kind of nasty, kind of funny. The dog loves to harass the ducks. The night before she caught one. It was dark and foggy and I couldn't see very well. She just ran into it surprised that it didn't fly away sooner. Ha! There are a couple of rabbits and possums that she likes to chase also. People were driving by and never even knew that I was fishing there. Who would have thought this story would come from the middle of the city of Houston with 4 million people. |

| Try the Lakes of Post Oak next time. Believe me, there are bigger bass than 12" in there. The bass are all blue from the dye in the water, but they are waaay bigger than 12". |
