| i've been looking into buying a kayak for the surf and wanted to ask the host of the site what he thought about the new wilderness ripper kayak. would appreciate some feedback |

I have one for rental if you want to try befor you buy. If you like it the cost of the rental comes of the top of purchase price. _________________ Broken or not fix it!

I have a ripper so I'll offer my two cents. I only use it for running out baits in the surf. It is very slow in the bay, and you'll end up wearing yourself out if there is any sort of wind. I like them in the surf because they are easy to control, and short enough to just float over waves instead of slicing through them. It is also a very good surf toy.  |
