I am looking to get a tat of a trout and wanted to know if anyone knew of a good artist in the area that can draw what I want and stick it with good detail? I was hoping to find someone that has done some of these before and thought maybe the Corpus area might have something.

Just remember that a trout has lots of different colors that make it a trout, so all those different colors will cost ya plenty.

There is this old lady that got a tatoo 40 years ago of a yellow butterfly on her chest, now it looks like big bird! Laughing The Eagle on her but looks like a really fat Ostrich now... Laughing Laughing Laughing

Forgot the name of the comic I heard say this, but its a good point. Wanna be careful what you put where, because in 30 or 40 years, it ain't gonna be pretty! Laughing

I got a tattoo on Colfax St. in Denver in 1988. It is an Eagles head with the letters USA below it, fairly conservative, it is on my upper right arm. I am still happy with it, the colors, red, white, and blue in the letters, and the yellow in the beak, have faded but it still looks great.

Sorry I don't know of a good tattoo artist in Corpus, I guess I just chimed in to say just be conservative in the tattoo and location and you should be pleased from now on.

Yeah I am 34years old and just got my first last summer. It is on my left arm. Its the square and compass from the Masonic Fraternity. I love it and will never regret getting it.

I figure I am not too young anymore and am about as mature as I am going to get so if I still want one then it is okay. I will never get a tattoo that cant be covered up by normal clothing. I still cant believe I had the stones to actually get the first one. I considered myself a wussie when it came to pain but it wasnt that bad. Uncomfortable but not that bad. I was hurt much worse at the dentist office last time I was there. They told me it was addictive and that I would want another. Well 7 months later I still want another one.

My wife got one of a Dolphin on her ankle last summer and she loves it. I guess it is so much more accepted in todays day and age.

The one I want is much like the Troutmasters Logo except with the Texas Flag and a different angle.

I used to work at the crime lab in KC. For several years the medical examiner collected tattoo photos. Every time a good one would show up, he would call me and I would photograph it for him.

My favorite was on a large upper arm. It was of a panther(just the paw) ripping the skin back from the arm showing a waving American flag underneath. It was a great tattoo.
