I've been thinking about writing a book on surf fishing, but it occurs to me that a book on saltwater fishing along the texas coast would be excellent.
It would be comprehensive and maybe even something we could sell through the SFCCi, Breakaway, and Tyler's website. The author's could split the profits evenly by section, I was thinking.
Anway, need people will good gramar and writing skills to write the sections on:
Fishing the flats
and
Fishing the bays
I'll cover jetty fishing in the surf section.
We would have to cover tackle, techniques, picking locations (maybe one or two generic locations), types of fish encountered, seasonal changes, etc. We don't need to cover casting, because Nick has that covered. It would also be good to included photos where appropriate.
I also was thinking we should included a small dictionary (2 or 3 pages at most) covering the local jargon.
We might even be able to get advertisers if it is good enough. Not gonna get rich doing it, but could help a bunch of people!
So, any volunteers? _________________ Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
