Lot's of mullet in the surf this morning. Past a group about 2 miles down and they had 6 redfish by about 8:00 a.m. Caught two reds myself along with two big ol' stingrays. I took Johnny French's advice this time I turned them over on their backs and got the hooks out no problemo.
Gave one to a group for shark bait and released the other. The water is pretty murky and lots of old and new seaweed and plastic. Driving is great however, I only went 10 miles down.
I forgot that the antibiotics I am taking said "avoid exposure to extreme sunlight"... got a helluva sunburn.
The surf should be getting better and better.!! |
