Oz, great read about your recent Mansfield yak/king trip. Questions:
1. did you troll your baits, free line, or cast to the kings?
2. what did you use for bait, or lure? And, what kind?
My boys are coming home in a few days and we're going to hit the surf together since last september. Thanks bud. -Zano _________________ "Throughout our life, we will only meet two people with whom we can agree with 100% of the time. Ourself, which we shouldn't; and God, which we should." -Me |

I expect OZ used a free lined ribbon fish on a king fish rig (typically thin wire leader with at least two small 4x 1/0 trebles). _________________ Ahh sand between my toes! |

Oz, Frenzy, Flakman... mucho gracias! Also, just read your accounts (with fishing techniques/bait details) from your mid & late july excursions. Absolutely awesome! Thanks guys. -Zano _________________ "Throughout our life, we will only meet two people with whom we can agree with 100% of the time. Ourself, which we shouldn't; and God, which we should." -Me |
